It's Thursday! Kinda love Thursdays because it's so close to the weekend also it's shopping night woo hoo! But no will not be going shopping, dead broke. Only shopping I will be doing today would probably be grocery. I hate going to Coles around 5.30 or 6 because it's always jam packed with people who just got off work. Have to wait in that extremely long line just to pay for my meagre groceries. Why don't I go later? Well if I get there late all the meat will be gone and the ones left look so limp and yucky. Can't get there earlier too since Fel's got class till 4.30 and I'm working till 5.30. Guess we just have to cope with the crowd.
And yes I get to work again today! Money money money....only thing that is keeping me excited about the job. Just hope they give us more training which would mean more money in my account. Was filling out the Tax forms and saw this form clipped at the back of it that said Superannuation. You see I always figured that it was automatically deducted and put into an account that was automatically created as well. But being the Daft Sarah I didn't know that was not the case, or so I suppose. The form had stuff like account number and transfer from the old super to the new one etc etc....what's that all about? I have never had a super account, do not know how I will go about this. Probably ask what's up with it later at work.
Got up at about 9.30 this morning, was supposed to get up at 8 to catch up with uni work. So much for motivational studying huh. I'm so tired of reading. It's only Week 3 at uni but I'm already tired. I feel as if I'm getting old. My back has been aching for a while and it kinda got worse yesterday at uni. Might wanna make an appointment for one of those remedial massages, at least I get to claim it from Medibank! Damn private insurance they have again increased their premiun. Just a year ago they did the same thing. Will have to make full use of them. First thing on my list is to claim my jazz shoes and then a massage, that is if I get around to doing it.
Had this great idea yesterday of throwing a party at my apartment when I listed out the people I wanted to invite it came up to 20 and I ain't gonna be able to fit that number in my apartment! Everyone will be sitting on the floor or something. Maybe I should just have it at Fel's house? Talking about Fel's house we went for a swim on Monday, went to the pool closest to his and we found worms at the bottom of the pool! 3 icky worms and boy was I freaked out. Thank god he only told me when we were almost done. YUCKS. I was so disgusted that I scrubbed myself real well with the loofah in the shower. Next time we shall be swimming at the other pool or the one at my apartment! I wonder where all the management fee that Fel pays go to. It's not like the security is that great, they do patrol Raleigh Park at night and well cut the hedges and what not but what about the pool! Thinking about it now gives me shivers...can't believe I was swimming in that water.
Laundry is done should go chuck them in the dryer....See ya....!!

It's 10.30pm and I'm getting sleepy. Should turn the pc off and start doing my readings for tutes. Don't know if I'm lagging behind but so far it seems as though I'm doing quite well with 2 subjects. Skipped the first tutorial of Postmodernism last week coz I felt horrible. It wasnt naeseousness or anything but more like emptiness inside and later a blinding headache. So it was a pretty good idea to stay home instead of going for class. Friday is hell at uni since I've got classes from 10-4 with no breaks at all. Guess I just have to get used to it. sigh
Anyways I've got great news today! A week ago I went for an interview at a company called Media Monitors for a position as an on-call casual receptionist. It was such a short interview probably just 5 minutes talking to her and the another 5 was to fill up a form. Didn't think I had high chances of getting it though but she rang me up today and told me to go for a training session tomorrow. Apparently we get 2 weeks worth of training and it is fully paid at the rate of $15.30, pretty good huh? But only drawback is that it's just an on call job so it's not like I'm getting consistent pay. Well it's better than nothing? Hopefully I get to put it down in my resume. Besides it's a pretty big media company and that's the line I want to get into once I graduate, would do me good to pickup a couple of stuff whilst working there.
Had uni today just 2 hours of it, wasn't that bad. They were lectures and pretty good ones too. Wokeup late coz it was raining and so cold, was nicely snuggled up in bed. My alarm was on snooze for like an hour, finally opened my dreary eyes and saw it was 9.30am! PANICKED! Rang Fel straight away to see if he could drive me instead. Thank god he managed to wakeup and I got to class just on time. I find it pretty silly that buses have to take a longer route. Normally the bus would take 20 minutes to get to the city and then another 5 to get to uni, but a car ride takes us less than 15 minutes to get to my uni!
Oh well I guess that's just life. Can't wait till I get my license so that I can start driving around (of course with the added cursing and swearing at the maniacal cars out there!) Time to turn on the study lamp and start studying.....
Btw, I'm getting pretty used to updating this blog!

Am currently at a friend's place. Brought our doggie ere to play around with the 2 other dogs and guess what our silly Toshi did. He decided to mark his territory in this place by pissing at 3 different location in this house! Really got us mad, he has been here before countless times but he only decides to do his "marking" today.
Anyways....It's a lazy Sunday and have not been up to much except doing some reading when I got up which was pretty late, had lunch with Fel and we went off for our haircut. We arrived half an hour late for our appointment and they were 2 minutes to closing! Luckily the lady was kind enough to allow us both to get our haircuts. However, in the midst of all the excitement Fel did not instruct the girl how to cut his hair properly. So now he has ended up with a bad haircut or so he says. I think it's fine its really short and it will go out but it does look a bit out of place now. The top bites and all alright just that the back is exceptionally short. Anyhows his hair grows extremely fast so I do not think it is much to worry about. He's gonna be spending a week or so with a bandanna on or a cap! Haha....pretty hilarious. Gonna take some pictures of it. We lack recent pictures of both of us since our new haircuts.
Saturday was pretty uneventful, bratty brother came over to the apartment cooked him and Fel dinner and Fel had to drive him back to school. Which Fel was not very pleased to do because bratty brother did not have the decency to ask Fel and sorta took it for granted that Fel would be driving him to school each time he drops by my apartment. Bratty brother is really an understatement for him, I really get cheesed off by him because he takes everything for granted but then again he is my brother right? He's just been too spoilt I wish for him to grow up ASAP! He'll be going to Uni next year and he really needs tons of maturity. I mean yeah he's going through a tough year being in Year 12 but that does not mean that I have to go all out just to accommodate him right? Anyhows....after that watched some tv and went out for a Malaysian Dance Party. I have not been to one of those for such a long long time! We went in a group of 8 and we walked all the way from Chinatown where Fel parked to City Hotel which was further down from QVB. My feet were killing me by the end of the night as we walked back to the car. Was a pretty good party though had a turn out of 700 or more and I must say that is a good achievement for Malaysian Societies but then again you have to take into consideration that it was a joint effort by 4 universities; Sydney Uni, UNSW, UTS and Macquarie Uni.
Met a whole lot of friends that night exchanged lotsa hugs, miss those guys since I worked with them for over a year when I was in the Society. Very very friendly people and anyone would definitely have loads of laughs just hanging out with them. It's a shame that we all do not get to hang out often since we all go to different uni's and live in different suburbs. Had a couple of drinks and we left at about 2.30. Fel and I got back at about 3, showered and had some nuggets for supper. Slept at close to 5. Latest I have ever slept in a long long time! And now here I am at my friend's place. Fel and Ben are currently playing Gamecube. Supposedly its extremely cheap now only $200. Have a strong feeling that Fel would probably buy it too! He doesn't seem to be satisfied with his game consoles.
That's it for today, its been a pretty long entry and my hands are getting hot because of the laptop. Can never get used to using laptops, somehow they feel like it is overheating on me!
Till the next time.....huggiesss....
